Over the past several decades there have been awesome strides made in medical technology, from cancer vaccines to stem cells for skin grafting techniques. And recently, I saw a video on another fascinating advancement in medicine-mushrooms for the treatment of cancer.

Now please read the article and listen carefully. Paul Stamets is not saying that mushrooms are a cure for cancer and neither am I. But they are likely to be a great supplement to traditional medical treatments for cancer. Living well from the inside out is a great way to prevent certain illnesses AND to manage existing conditions. Complementary medicine is encouraged by some doctors, but it is imperative to communicate your efforts with your doctor. Do your research and be thorough.

In the meantime, enjoy some mushroom soup

Nice! The Nutrition teacher at my vocational school was a huge fan of mushrooms. Especially since his wife is Japanese, and he said that they put mushrooms in everything.

I would definitely say that they were on to something. Western medicine is slowly but surely combining with Eastern Naturopathy.
